Sturdy, substantial, fit for purpose.
It's a case for LTO tapes. That makes it kind of a specialty item to begin with. But if you want such a thing, this one will do nicely. The slots in this container are designed to hold tapes in their plastic cases. Uncased tapes will fit loosely and rattle about. The case is completely unpadded, but the construction is such that the tapes are securely held and well-protected. Case is probably not waterproof, although I haven't tested. Overall it's not opulent -- it's made entirely of plastic -- but it does the job.
