Regular air pump failure and temperature control issues.
Purchased 3 of these new and all failed over a period of 2 years. Some failed to heat to the proper temperature and air pumps failed on two of them. For the price and the quality of the weller name (I know it is a good name!!!) these should be better but they aren't. Hoping for better quality on the newer generations.

Poor quality
Pros: -OBD Breakout with 12V control and banana jacks. Cons: -Stud threads for side connectors do not match threads on thumb screws, so you can not thread them on without cross threading them. -Pins (and pin receptacles) on the entire unit including the cables are very low quality - About typical for china, but much worse than the even lowest quality USA or Japan terminal that you would be able to find on the market. After only a few uses, the receptacles loosen up and this is a big problem. I do not expect them to last long at all. The terminal plating also appears to be very poor quality which is a big problem for any automotive electrical tool. -The wire with the terminals attached is labeled AWM wire, but if that is true, then it is the lowest quality AWM wire that I have encountered.
