Good, not as good as later series
I bought this as i wanted to own all 6 series of such a classic modern day comedy. The pilot episode is totally unlike the rest, it is taken up by members of the public giving their opinion on love, sex etc. The overall fashion and look of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda is quite cheesy and not like the latter day edginess of their designer costumes. But this series is definitely to be owned if only to see how all four women and the way each episode was written have evolved.

Excellent, much improved from first series
This is where the series really gets going. Theres less narratives and opinions, both by Carrie and the New York public, and the series has a much more polished look about it. The first series is spent getting to know the characters and by this series, you get totally fixated on their lives. So much funnier, more episodes, quality one-liners from Samantha - this is a must.
