The Five Pennies(2005)
Not only is it a true story, it is the best one of the best films Danny Kaye ever mad. Don't think because it's Kaye it's a comedy, it's not, it's a Weepie and lovely.

1 of 1 found this helpful Forget all the other imitations this is the One and only. Laurance Olivier is Fantastic.One of the most romantic films ever made Merle Oberon as Kathy is both beautiful and vunerable. Not to mention the perfect English Man David Niven.
