A good read and hard to put down
Third book in the series and necessary to the rest of them - the condition of the book is closer to Very Good

Good publication, poor interior art. I would buy it again.
This is a campaign book for the Jihad and takes you through various battles using the newer format catalyst have come up with for game play. It's designed for up to company level play.
You should note that its background content is limited but it does contain sidebars for various events within the Jihad and a general overview of Stone's campaign.
You have a choice of three merc units that have survived to this point. Obviously you don't need to use them and in my case, I've just gone ahead and extrapolated to my own unit and everythings worked out fine.
There are a couple of statted out Mech's - the Awesome 10KM Cameron and the Atlas AS7-D-H Devlin but that's it for new tech. There is a nicely done RAT table which covers Mercenaries; Protectorate Militia; Word of Blake and Shadow Divisions.
Overall, I like the quality of the book, and I've run my own units through one of the scenarios. My only issue is the lack of colour inside the book - especially as a lot of the art inside are pictures of miniatures - and they suffer from just being in greyscale and are not particularly good because of this.
