My back is so much better with an upright hoover
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this upright to replace my vax cylander cleaner which was aggravating my back pain. This is so easy to push on my carpet. You can adjust the brush height. Couldn't believe how much it got out of my carpet. Including all the cat fur! (dog is allergic to it!) Did an excellent job. When I cleaned the stairs, the suction was so strong it was lifting carpet. I had to keep the tool piece at an angle as worried it would lift carpet out of brackets. Only downside is the dust that is left around the top when emptied. Thats because I'm used to having a bag. On the whole it's a great hoover

Don't waste your money
Looks good from a distance, but it's very flimsy. Very thin wood. Not sure how the main post will stand up to anything heavier than a sparrow. It's a butterfly joint. Had to put a brick against each leg to try and stop it toppling over. Got no chance if the squirrel tries to climb it. Had to leave other one up for him!!! Top broke on that one. Perhaps I would of been better making a new top!! I'd say get what you pay for, but old one is sturdier and cheaper!!!
