Cant be used as the only monitor
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great little monitor - slim and lightweight. USB3 connection (just one cable) is a great feature and the main reason I bought one.
BUT it will not function as the only monitor. I wanted to use it with a mini-pc running Windows 10 and try as I might it will not function as the only monitor. With a vga or HDMI monitor attached and `duplicare display` set, it works perfectly. With no other monitor attached it will only act as a screen extension, only displaying part of the screen and not displaying program windows.
Product support is frankly lousy - very very slow response to support requests and eventually they just give up and stop responding.
If you only want an additional monitor for a laptop and can gamble that you wont need technical support, buy one.
If you want a stand alone monitor, this is not for you.

Good Radio, poor headphones
Bought to replace the earlier model which led a hard life in my pocket and performed faultlessly. Better user interface, same good sound and reception. Battery life is acceptable but seems a bit shorter than the previous model. This model is physically smaller which is an advantage. The headphones....oh dear. The first set ceased working on one side almost immediately. The supplier (good as gold) replaced them. After a while I noticed the insulation coming away at the jack on the new headphones. So budget for a pair of good quality headphones - just be sure and get a set with long leads as this device uses the headphones as an aerial.
