Off grain
The quality of the fabric itself was good. However, it had been printed off-grain (the pattern does not follow the grain line of the fabric as it should). This made it very difficult to use and I lost some fabric in trying to cut it so the pattern was straight and aligned. I am an experienced seamstress.

Beautiful illustrations, lovely concept!
My granddaughter who is 9 will be able to pick this book up and cook the recipes herself, with a little bit of oversight in the wok recipe. Illustrations are so beautiful, and they fill me with nostalgia. They suit the recipes perfectly, with lots of details you don’t notice on first look. Lovely book!
