Took a couple of seconds to warm up but works fine.

Humbucker Template
Good product, but check your pickup rings first, this template is about 1 1/2mm wider than the Stewmac one, this can lead to a gap showing. Could always fill the ends of the template of course, the rest of it’s fine.

Akai Portable CD Player
Bought as a replacement for my 30 year old Philips that finally died. This one’s not in the same league, but for £10 that’s not surprising. Seems to be all plastic so may be not as rugged as some. No instructions included, display is very small. Works fine however, although the max volume is about the same as my other machines on half-volume, too quiet really. I’m using mine mainly through a speaker so I can turn that up so it’s ok for what I need.
