Worth Purchasing for your Library.
1 of 3 found this helpful I'm glad I bought this book. I was unable to obtain a copy from our library, probably due to the title. Russell makes valid points though not as well explained as could be. Amazing that it was written back then; it took a lot of courage. Someone needs to print an up-to-date version of this topic.

Shelton/Hensley NC & TN Stories
A must for any Sheltons or Hensleys from North Carolina or Tennessee. Author is a high school science teacher living in Greeneville, TN who includes many black and white photos. Author descends many ways from these and other families in the area. Great for your genealogical library!

Library Book First
I recommend looking through it at the library first to see if this subject interests you. I descend from some of the people so it was pertinent to me and contained enough information to purchase my own copy.
