Effectively this is a high quality penny stove without the penny. The advantage is the weight and size. The drawback is the fact that there is no way of filling this from an ordinary fuel bottle without ending up with fuel all over the place and not much in the stove. The central filler hole is so small that in order to fill it you have to put tiny drops into the stove which is not possible from and ordinary bottle unless the bottle is almost empty. The only way to avoid this is to buy one of the bulky trangia bottles with a spout or to use an expensive (and does not carry much) Vargo bottle. Once going it works well in ideal conditions but it is not a player when trying to fill it in the freezing cold half way up a mountain in the driving wind. It desperately needs a rethink so that it can be filled without wasting so much fuel.

Hammock kip mat
Good for sleeping on the ground or in the hammock. The long narrow design means it did not slip out of my hammock. There was some condensation on the base of my doss bag but nothing too great. I left the doss bag the other way up whilst I had breakfast and it had dried before it needed packing away. Ideal answer for those camps where you might be on the ground or in the trees. I would recommend.
