great viewing and a well presented tale
The story line flows quite well and follows the tale written by Bernard Cornwell. As with most TV adaptations of novels there are some loose ends but thesae are fairly minor and the story flows in an interesting way. There could have been some more character development, particularly of some of the key supporting characters but overall it is a well crafted storyline and has some excellent action sequences. The main character is strong and one can empathise with him. I look forward to greater development of this character and hopefully many more seasons of the tales. Overall an excellent show with superb backgrounds and sequences.

Absorbing and suspensefull with well thought out development.
This is an excellent example of Nordic noir. The story is well presented and the explanation is well covered in the retrospective. Well worth watching.
