Maybe a manufacturing fault? They may need to go back to manufacturer. Hope its a one off.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought these a few weeks ago as I lost my other set to my daughter. They are sturdy and you actually feel safe on them. Well that was until my hubby was running some electric cables from the RCD to a new double over (overhead via trunking). He nearly completed the task when we heard a noise and a silver round bit of metal hit the floor. I picked it up as hubby was still housing the cable and I could see the top left had ladder support had come away from the ladder altogether. The rivet had snapped or was already snapped during manufacturing. It was the 2nd time we had used the ladder since purchase.
We will now have to go and buy a bolt so we can use the ladders. We are thinking of buying a few more bolts just in case the other rivets are the same.
I was so happy with the purchase and 1st time I used them I was chuffed. What spoiled it was the 2nd time we used the ladders. So until we either repair or find out who manufactured these ladders to get a new set. We will have to put up and shut up for now.
Seller is no way to blame for this as the seller probably did not make the ladders.

LOOKS AMAZING AND EASY TO FIT !!!
Look amazing, easy to fit. My hubby got them on his A45 and looked so nice that and is why I bought them for my car.

Awesome bit of kit

I don't think she is destined to have a nice camera as this was also stolen off the top of her car while she was putting the baby into the car seat.
