Lovely pencils
1 of 1 found this helpful I think these pencils are lovely. They are soft and creamy. I find them to blend well overall. I gave most every brand of artist grade pencil out there and these colors are stunning. They perform similar to polychromos but are more opaque. Their softness is closest to Prismacolor. They don’t layer as much as say Pablos due to their soft wax texture. Wax bloom is not an issue though due to that firmer lead. I think any pencil collector or artist should have these in their arsenal. The cost is not as high as luminance, or Pablo pencils. Price per pencil in the set is around 1.93 which is cheaper than most artist grade. Obviously prismas are more cost effective as are polychromos in their respective sets. Biggest drawback is open stock is not an option. Hopefully that will change someday.
