Definitely worth having but a long way from perfect
Not easy and you need to want to learn the language. I think the approach of listening to the teaching of two students is an extremely valuable approach. The quality of the session however whilst being quite reasonable for an evening class is remarkably rough for one of the leading cd's available. Weaknesses would include Michel's pronounciation in English which leads to confustion on more than one occasion. His comparatively poor diction in some areas is also a worry given in the absence of any native speakers Michel is the sole source of Italian pronounciation guidance. Overall definitely worth having . . .

Well worth having
It is clearer but slower than Michel Thomas. If you could combine the clarity of this with the content of Michel Thomas you would have the perfect language cd. Price is competitive compared to MT which is very expensive.
