Clucking good buy.
Very pleased with this, had read reviews saying takes chickens a couple of months to get used to it - ours must be a bit braver and nosier, they couldn't wait to check it out and use it from day 1! We're already noticing less wasted pellets compared to the old feeder. Feeder is more robust than expected, easy to set up - slightly noisy treddle but our chickens don't seem to care. We have mixed size and age chickens but they can all use this without difficulty.

Over the last 2 years we have tried many ways of encouraging our hens to lay in different areas of the nesting box. These inserts mean we no longer have a queue of cross legged grumpy chickens but hens that use 3 different areas to lay.
Thanks to the roll away design it also means our very large hen no longer squashes other hens eggs when she drops full force to lay her own!
We are very pleased and would definitely recommend to others.
