A great way to remember The Carpenters...
There are countless Carpenter compilation albums coming in all manner of permutations as far as track listings go. What's the definitive version? Who knows? But this must come close. There are probably some questionable selections on CD2 and some omissions such as 'Can't smile without you' and 'A song for you', but not enough to deter the casual buyer who wants to dip into the music of this trendsetting, masterly brother/sister combination. The sound quality's good too.

A great collection from this master storyteller's back catalogue.
Everything about this release shouts quality. Beautifully put together and well recorded. A CD to treasure.

A worthy CD recorder for commercial and domestic use.
2 of 2 found this helpful This particular model was for the 110v market but came supplied conveniently with a step-down transformer to enable it to work on 240v supplies. It's a good machine and works well although the logic in certain areas of the machine do leave a little to be desired. I have been spoilt with the Tascam CDRW402 which is no longer in production but provided many more useful features than currently on offer with this model. Tascam is a company synonymous with quality products and this macine proves the point. It does its job well and the CDs I have recorded with it seem to play without hitch on many different types of CD players which for my needs, is very important. It also doesn't seem to be too picky about which blank media you give to it to record onto. There are newer versions of this machine now available which probably are more capable, so if you are thinking of buying, then it would perhaps be better to consider the more recent models rather than the older ones.
