Shugo Shugo!
The product was an especially decent price for all 12 of the manga pieces considering you could go to barnes and noble and find each book at $8.99 a piece. Even though they were used, they were practically brand new, as if they were straight from the bookstore.
It was wonderful to relive a bit of my younger days from when I had originally watched the show and read this manga online several years ago. The story has its flaws, but still holds up as largely entertaining--even now. The characters are fun, silly, and overdramatic, but also very like-able and relatable at times. If there were any art flaws(some of the hands/fingers in particular), they only made me laugh and smile. The rest of the art can be very charming and beautiful, especially with the complex outfit designs. It flowed rather well and wasn't too hard to read(I do recall this ONE translation/editing mistake where they put the wrong lines in the wrong speech bubbles, though). Overall, I can see myself rereading this gem again in the future because of how much it made me grin and burst out laughing, while also filling me with inspiration and small snippits of life wisdom. I'm very pleased to have bought this.
