James Patterson - 9th Judgement
I am working my way through all the James Patterson book and although this is book 9 I have just finished book 11. James Patterson I had never read prior to starting this series I am an avid Ian Rankin fan but having exhausted all his books and waiting on next one coming out I have started on James Patterson that my Dad always read. The books are written with flair and ease and short chapters so you can always put it down if you have to by finishing a chapter to go and do whatever you get called away to do. I love the flow of all the books and they are the easiest books I have ever read. I just wish I had found my Dad's favourite author sooner. Love all the characters and the intrigue and the wondering what is coming next. Totally blown away by the books and feel as If I know all the characters already. Definitely recommend you start reading these boooks with Maxine Paetro. Keeps my mind occupied and off the serious things going on in life around you the books take you into them. Highly Recommended.

A MUST READ - STONE OF DESITNY BY IAN R HAMILTON - GO & BUY YOUR COPY NOW
What can I say but if you want to read something of interest purchase The Stone of Destiny by Ian R Hamilton right here on ebay. It is a most interesting book and I could not put it down.
As you may or may not know, Ian R Hamilton is a magnificent author and he is probably mostly known for his part in the repatriation of the Stone of Destiny. Ian has been one of Scotland’s most amazing lawyers and what is interesting is that he actually refused to swear allegiance to the Queen arguing that she could only be referred to as Queen Elizabeth in Scotland. Ian I believe was born in Paisly the son of a tailor, he I believe had a scholarship to John Neilston school in the town and then went on to study Law at Glasgow University . His father was a great influence in his life as was his Mother. The both worked very hard to give him the best they could in life from a humble beginning.
I just know that as a mature student years ago if I had read Ian's books I would have indeed been persuaded to study Law and not take the path I did in life. That is how influential a person Ian Hamilton is. I would actually love to meet this man and if you go online you will find he actually still writes a blog. Worth a read.
A wonderful man, Lawyer and indeed a wonderful Scottish mentor. Why I wonder is there not a monument erected to this man and why indeed did he never stand for Parliament. In my eyes he would have made a wonderful if not controversial Prime Minister of the UK.
ps you don't need to be Scottish to read this book. It is a book for all and all ages but would be a great influence to young people thinking of taking up a career in Law.
I would have loved him to be my lecturer. I would have been spellbound listening to him.
Hope this helps others and they go and buy the book especially when you can get them so reasonably from time to time on ebay.
I am hanging onto my copy of The Stone Of Destiny by Ian R Hamilton as it is a book I will read over and over again and cherish.
There are not a lot of books that I would hang onto this. This is definitely one of them.
