Good idea, bad build quality

There are other brands with the same concept that do a much more robust job of it. This particular controller just felt flimsy for the price. Buttons we're a bit lose in the shell. If you can find a cheap one then it isn't bad. But I would go with a different brand personally

really smooth operation, but.....

So I got this mouse due to the price. It is extremely good value for a 9 button (including dpi switches) gaming mouse. It is really comfortable and smooth to operate. The buttons feel sturdy and not flimsy like some of the other cheap gaming mice out there, But I do have 1 big issue with the design - which had 1 known, I might not have bought this mouse and just spent a little more on a Logitech mouse. My issue is that the 3 thumb buttons on the side of the mouse are fixed to Shift Cntrl and Alt. I had expected to be able to configure the side buttons any way I wanted. (Even the cheap, crappy gaming mice can do that). Instead, I almost never use the side buttons as those are NOT keys i want quick access to when gaming. In short. Great quality product. Terrible software implication; and it is a software issue here as it is a wireless mouse, so configuration isnt hard wired.

Excellent mouse with great software but just a few quirks.

So this is a great mouse to game with. Laser and 13 buttons. Most of which are programmable through software profiles for each game. Setting them up can be a pain unfortunately, but not the end of the world. The battery is a little on the small size for long gaming sessions. At least it's rechargable via USB cord where it just becomes a corded mouse. I'm very happy with it
