The Tirpitz model
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the second of three models I purchased in one go, the first being the Bismarck and the third being the Yamato. With this ship being the Bismarck's sister ship it will be the same build as encountered with the Bismarck with only a few slight minor difference's. The attention to the details is spot on as with all Tamiya models.

The Bismarck model.
2 of 2 found this helpful This model of the Bismarck comes from the Tamiya model manufacturers and as such the attention to detail is spot on. One of the largest models I have made to date but since I purchased the WWII Battleship Tirpitz and the WWII Battleship Yamato at the same time and they are the same scale this will not last long as the largest model I have made. The flow of making up the model is easily completed even with the time spent allowing the model parts to dry from painting. Overall a very good model to build and paint and display.

The Yamato model
1 of 1 found this helpful The Yamato model which was bought is from a very respected model manufacturer - TAMIYA. This means that the you know very well that the product will be made to the highest standard. I purchased this model along with 2 other WWII Battleships, 1 of which has been completed and the other has been started, this model was left to the end because of the complexity of the build. That mean of course the attention to detail in the model parts is of a very high standard. Overall an excellent model to be built and a challenge I have not previously had with other models.
