Top quality - expensive - but in the long term better value?
Nobody disputes the quality of Tormek products - well designed and engineered. For the first time in my life I now have razor sharp chisels that are a joy to use! I looked at the alternatives at half the price, but they run the heavy wheel on nylon bushes which slop side to side, the mounting nut comes loose and their drive system are toy-town! It costs money to engineer a product like the Tormek and get it to your workshop. Expensive - but when your woodworking days are finished you can sell the Tormek easily on Ebay and get a lot of the investment back! Check out the prices before you buy - they can vary by £100. Happy woodworking!

Robust but it took over 45 minutes to remove the oil
The extractor is expensive and robust but it took over 45 minutes to remove the oil and had to be pumped every few minutes because it kept losing its vacuum. Also, 6 litres capacity should have held all of the oil extracted but it was near the top of the container and needed some oil removed before the job was complete. I contacted the help line and the suppliers who suggested checking the seals (ok) and suggested having the engine hotter than I had it before starting extraction and lowering the position of the pump. I will try that next year! The supplier kindly sent a replacement unit but it was only slightly better.
At least the unit worked and the extractor tube was thin enough to go down the dip stick tube - some cheaper units have a fat tube. The pump non-return valve just needs to be better.
Using an extractor may not be as thorough as removing the drain plug but I've spent enough of my life rolling under cars!

Really heavy gauge copper conductors with powerful croc clips.
I recon you could jump start a jumbo jet with these cables! Really heavy gauge copper conductors with powerful croc clips. Of course it's heavy being 5 metres long but with that length you can still reach your battery terminals from a vehicle parked behind - important if you have an automatic gearbox and cannot push the car. My cable came with a decent quality carry bag.
120 amp cables purchased from got-jumpleads.
