Great product!
The long design works well when building custom speaker enclosures, allowing plenty of length when using 0.75" material walls.

3 of 4 found this helpful The Best sounding subs that I've heard so far. I've owned several of the 10w7's & 12W7's, & 1 8w7 in the past. I currently own 3-10w7's a 12w7, a 13w7 & a 13TW5 but just have the 13w7 & 13TW5 in my 2012 crewcab F350 at the moment. I can still fit 2 passengers in the rear but not a whole lot of leg room with the 13w7 sitting centered on the floor in a custom spec box i built to utilize the space, while my 13tw5v2 is custom built into the center of the rear backrest flush & finished in black leather that matches the Lariat's interior where the arm rest used to fold down. Anyway...so the first review compares a W7 with the UL12 which I have yet to hear. The 12w7 Retails for around $1,000 or so while the UL12 Retails for around $14,000. If these 2 subs can be compared on a sound quality level at those price ranges & the W7 holds enough ground to be mentioned, shows me the W7 is one hell of a value since I can own 14 of them... or I could own 1 UL12 for the same price, tough call....lol. I know the person who posted that is just trying to sell UL's but get real. Guess he doesn't realize he's selling W7's with that review. If I had to compare them to a Sundown, I wouldn't, since sundown is a brand & has many model subs just like every Car Audio company does ranging from entry level on up to their Top line. If u were to compare JL's top line to sundown's top line, which I believe is the Team line (but not certain) then the W7 comes in quite a bit cheaper so the other review that mentions sundown, kinda contradicts himself & fails to mention model of sundown. Maybe he didn't realize there was more then one & just calls em all sundown's lol. Anyhow....if your anything like myself where only the best will do...then u have a very important decision to make......14 12W7's??? Or.....1 whole UL12??? Lmao!
