Still the best...
2 of 2 found this helpful Mary Chapin Carpenter is one of very few "Singer/Songwriters" of note in this era of music.
Count her up there with Carly Simon and Carole King, with the exception that she is less "pop." Her lyrics are poignant and the music always pleasant, well constructed, and very acoustic - a refreshing change in this era of "pop-electronica" we live in. Her folksy style is as always homey and inviting, just really pleasant and relaxing to listen to. I suppose you could call it adult-oriented, but younger audiences should be listening too; they are being critically short-changed by major pop artists today.

A great suspense filled thriller from a great director...
I bought this DVD solely because of its director Brian DePalma. Its another one of his suspense filled thriller/dramas, and includes some of his signature effects like split-screening. DePalma is a stylistic director and his films rank at the top of my suspense list. He talks about being influenced by Hitchcock, and you will see this with the way he uses cameras...always fun to watch his stuff! (well, EXCEPT the "voilence against women" stuff like "Body Double" and "Dressed to Kill." Sorry Brian!). But most of his other work is just terrific, including this one.

Don't bother...
Two of us tried to get this thing programmed and working and could never get it going. We gave up. A week later we bought a different Universal remote from another retailer. We had it programmed and working in about two minutes. TWO minutes. So don't waste your money on this one.
NEW UPDATE: My buddy took this piece of junk to his house and it would NOT program or operate ANY of his TV's either.
