Didn't work out for me

I stopped using my open fire and replaced it with this. Even on the highest setting with the thermostat as high as it could go, the heat output wasn't enough to adequately warm my room. I had to use my electric radiator as well. The fan makes a noise which takes some getting used to and you will need to turn your tv up. to be fair, it may be ok for a smaller room or a conservatory. I have opened up my fire place and gone back to coal and logs. the stove has gone into my kitchen and I use it to take the chill off on cold days. An experiment that didn't work for me.
