Out dated but not obsolete.
It is what it is, a WRT54G router with a firmware version that works for my very specific and very narrow application. It's Linksys. They were well built. Treat it right and it will be your friend for life or until someone lets the smoke out of it.
Being a discontinued piece of equipment does NOT make it obsolete. The good thing about the WRT54G routers is that they are open source and the firmware can be flashed. It is exactly what I wanted.
