Lumix TZ65
This is such a brilliant camera. I am so impressed by the image quality and the sharpness of focussing. Generally I have found the pictures to be as good or better than those I have taken with a Nikon DSLR - except that of course this compact gives you less control on depth of field etc. The camera feels well built and more solid than many other compacts. The macro is amazing and this together with its long lens capabilities makes the lens very versatile. The TZ65 has a lovely 3" high res screen and is brilliant value and in many ways a better choice than the TZ6 or TZ7 which it sits between (its a TZ6 with the TZ7 LCD screen). Though the newer TZ10s have more features, they have the same lens (I think) and therefore a second-hand TZ65 may be a good, better value alternative to a new camera. However with new prices always falling, the gap between new and second-hand is in some cases getting uncomfortably small.

Smelly cheap rubber
You pay for what you get. This is cheap and probably will work- I have not tried it in ice yet. But, the rubber is thick, very smelly and not very stretchy. There are much better products, but may cost 4 times the price.
