Big detail small model

Although a 1/72 scale the detail is very sharp and well moulded. Construction was very simple, but has an amazing look once painted and weathered to sit on a diorama. It retains the ability to elevate and rotate the barrel to suit your scene. The crew too are good quality with no flash so minimal work is needed.

Throttle lock on heated grips

Bought this for a twist n go scooter that has heated grips fitted and are thicker than usual grips. However, by swapping the different sized rubber insets that are supplied, we quickly found the right combination to ensure a snug, but not so tight a seal that it damaged the heating elements, fit to the bike. Adjusting the the brake lever catch was as simple as sliding an insert-seat along to the correct location and securing with the lock screw. Although maybe not as quick to attach to the scooter as a disk brake lock, I feel the bonus of this lock is there is no crouching down to unlock this like there is for a disk brake lock and this makes me feel less vulnerable in the evenings as I can still see who is nearby. It has a weighty secure feel to it, but is not too bulky so it slips easily into a pocket or bag.
