A great book.

Superbly researched. I couldn't put the book down. You get a real feel for the real man. It makes you realise what the POW's and the people that helped them went through and the ordeals people suffered at the hands of the Nazis. If you want to find out more about Big X and the many people that helped with the escape and his life prior to being captured and what happened after the break out, this is the book to read. Brilliant.

A great buy

One of the best dvds I've seen about the subject. Very informative and intelligently done. It's set in a studio that resembles a court and has a kind of a court case feel to it with some main suspects. All the 'judges' so to speak are all professionals who have a lot of experience and insight regarding the crimes, and give their knowledge and their judgement on who would most likely be the murderer. I think everyone involved in the show/investigation are believable and very credable. The re-enactments are excellent. Read the synopsis on the back of the dvd which covers it all, I think it's a great dvd and Peter Ustinov and Jan Leeming do a great job.
