Does the Job
As someone who many years ago used other mounting systems, I find there's no comparison. Showgard is protective and easy to use. The only decisions you have to make are what background to get (usually black works best), strips (cheaper than precut packages but require more careful trimming to look good) and what sizes. The latter can be tricky as you don't want to squeeze/damage stamps or get something too big. For modern U.S. issues the 215/25 strips work well but there are exceptions. A downloadable gauge for your stamps is worthwhile, and if not sure allow more space for some issues. Using a wet Q-tip for the gumming and tweezers for the insertion of the stamp can make things neater. Just don't rush or do this when tired, and never force one in.

What Can You Say About Perfection
1 of 1 found this helpful This volume, the first of two, contains the earlier stories of the timeless detective. They were written by a man who wanted to be known for his other work (mainly historical novels) but was loved for the characters he created, and the world they lived in. These stories are the earlier Holmes, up to his dramatic "death" when he destroyed the evil James Moriarty and his criminal empire. Some readers feel that many of the later stories were not as good as the first group. Get both volumes and follow Holmes in making your own deductions!
