Good bargain switch for most applications.
The GS716T I got was a version 1. I think it dates from around 2004. The fan is louder and more continuous than newer versions (think a hairdryer on low or medium), but otherwise it seems to work fine. If it's going next to ppl. you'll want a newer more quiet switch, but for an IT room this is fine.
