Good Old Nikon 2004 Vintage Tank of a Camera

Excellent camera and is a still good for use in 2014. The one lacking feature is the small viewfinder. Hard to check quality of images on small viewfinder. Built like a tank, in this case, an older tank. Love the crop feature that increases the shutter speed to 8FPS. Good for use with older Nikkor AF lenses that will not work on the current 3000 and 5000 series cameras. ISO perfomance is somewhat limited by today's standards. Even though it's heavy, it feels comfortable in your hand even with a large tele hanging off it. Image size is sufficient for most applications. Less tech but let's you focus on the important stuff.

For repair on garage door operator

Found this small spring as a repair part for my garage door operator. It was part of the electrical contractor. Hard to find part. All I needed was one but no one else seem to carry this item.

Old School Construction and Quality

Ordered a excellent used copy of the lens based on recommendations from a web review (Angry Photographer). Mounted on my NIkon D610. Did not miss the automatic focus at all. Lens feels like old school construction, nice tactile feel and silky smooth focus mechanism. Shot it wide open at 1.4 and found myself in awe of the bokeh. Can't wait to shoot some portraits and landscapes with this. So far, I have purchased (3) other offerings from Voiglander - 40, 90 and the famous 125/2.5 and am impressed with the old school construction and quality of all of them.
