If it's on sale, BUY IT!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this as an upgrade for my sister's original Galaxy Tab 7.0. Paid $269.99 for it and I think it's a steal.
+ Lighter. The design makes it feel much much thinner than the original, even if the difference isn't that big.
+ Build quality is superb as expected from Samsung.
+ Samsung Exynos dual-core processor is fast!
+ Beautiful screen. Not Super AMOLED but very bright and contrasty. Colors are vibrant.
+ Battery life also improved.
- Samsung Exynos is fast but Honeycomb is the bottleneck. Need ICS upgrade asap, thankfully that should be within a month or two.
- I don't like Samsung's personal Touchwiz interface. Feels slower than stock HC.
At $269.99, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. But any higher and I'd have to pause to think since newer tablets are coming out with better specs for that price range.

Don't hesitate to buy one unless you can find a DSi for dirt cheap.
I wanted an upgrade from my DS Lite. Didn't want to get the DSi since it was basically a cosmetic upgrade so went for the 3DS (on sale!).
Very pleased with the product. Good build quality. Has many new features that will come in handy if I ever need them (front facing camera etc). Game selection is great as expected from a Nintendo product.

Best value for a superzoom camera.
1 of 1 found this helpful I knew I loved it before I got it. After making the decision to upgrade from my Canon Powershot SD850 point-and-shoot to a more robust superzoom camera, I did tons of research.
And I found my perfect camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35/38. It has all the components I wanted: 12mp, 18x OPTICAL zoom (!) and most importantly, Manual Exposure settings! There was no point in upgrading if I'm not aiming for the next "level". And after reading many MANY reviews on various websites, I came to the conclusion that this was THE camera for me. The fact that it's last year's model is outweighed by the much cheaper price AND surprisingly better image quality (compared to the new FZ100).
When I finally received the camera from Dyscern (thank you!), I knew right away I'd made the right decision. The Panasonic FZ35 is a thing of beauty. Not as big as a D/SLR but it's heftier and much more comfortable to hold than a point-and-shoot compact camera. As any camera buyer would, the first thing I did was switch the power on and start taking some pictures. I was blown away by the difference in quality between this camera and my Canon SD850 (which was no slouch either!). It captures more light resulting in less noise and sharper images.
I then proceeded to try out the manual exposure modes and as I had expected, it gave me much more creative control over my pictures. I was able to manually set the depth of field via Aperture, and took some amazingly sharp pics of my aquarium fish at very fast shutter speed. Both of these things can be done in a way on compact cameras, but nowhere near this extent.
I feel like this will be my favourite purchase of the holiday season. And i fear no Christmas present will make me as happy as this camera did. Don't hesitate. Buy this!
