Useful around the farm
I've owned Surefire flashlights for many years and used them for home and work. This was my first Intellibeam model and I have to say that I like it. In Auto mode the light is full bright until potential blinding reflected light causes it to dim to a comfortable level. I've propped it up under the kitchen cabinet to install a paper towel holder and have scanned my property late at night for a security check. I think this is a good all around light.
The lithium batteries though expensive have a long shelf life ensuring that it is always ready when I need it.
Some folks have criticised the lack of a manual low power setting. If this is really important to you you may want to pass on this. For the rest of us this is a great flashlights.
