HP 5185-2027 keyboard - still my favorite!
After using many keyboards over the years, I still love one of my first, the HP 5185-2027 that originally came with my HP Pavilion 780C desktop PC that I bought in about 2000. I still use that computer for email and low priority stuff and it has served me very well through the years. (All that I have replaced was the power supply about three years ago.) I absolutely loved the keyboard that came with it and it too never failed me. The keys had a good sturdy feel to them and overall the keyboard just felt "right" to me. The blue LED back lighting along the top internet buttons were an added plus factor, especially at night.
All was well with that HP keyboard until a nameless family member spilled a cup of coffee on it. That killed it instantly. I replaced it with other keyboards from various manufacturers over the years but none of them felt as good to me as that original HP 5185-2027. I searched online for a new one but all that I found were well used ones that were too expensive.
Thanks to eBay, I now have a brand new HP 5185-2027 keyboard that came in its original packaging. The price was great and I absolutely *LOVE* my new old keyboard! It's like going back in time to when I first got my HP Pavilion 780C. I never uninstalled the original keyboard driver in my PC so all of the keyboard functions work perfectly. Even the blue LED back lighting on the internet buttons works and it looks just as cool as it did back in 2000. I may not look exactly the same as I did in 2000 but my computer keyboard does.
There are some people out there that refuse to type on anything other than this HP 5185-2027 keyboard. (I'm typing this review on mine and it is still working just fine.) I hope to keep this one even longer than my old one and that should not be a problem because that nameless family member and their deadly keyboard killing coffee are no longer using my computer - thank goodness!

Best servo for the price!
I used this Hitec HS-645MG in my Tamiya Bull Head. Though the truck is all custom, it still uses the stock style steering system with one servo mounted in the bottom of the aluminum chassis (Sassy Chassis) that steers all four wheels. This servo works great in my truck and it did not break the bank. As far as price versus performance, there is no better deal on today's R/C market for a steering servo in my opinion. The HS-645MG has been in production for many years now and that is because it just works and it is very affordable. Sure there are better servos that easily out-perform it, but they all cost a lot more. For the price, the HS-645MG cannot be beat in my book.

Finally Miami Vice score on CD.
Finally I have this 2 CD set that has been out of print for many years now and difficult to find other than here on eBay. One of the things that bothered me about all other official Miami Vice CDs is that they consisted mostly of popular songs that were hits on FM radio at the time of the show but they only included a little bit of Jan Hamer's musical score. That was why I never bought any of them. I can hear Phil Collins, Glenn Frey, and Steve Winwood just about any time on my radio but it's hard to find Jan Hammer's music from the show all by itself separately from the songs.
If you are a Miami Vice fan and particularly a fan of the show's score by Jan Hammer, this is the definitive CD set to own - period. Don't even consider any of the other Miami Vice CDs that have been released because they won't cater to what you're after.
Just be aware that as time goes by, prices for this CD set will probably keep going up. I have seen it elsewhere for well over $100 and that was for used copies. Thanks to eBay, I got a great deal on my copy and it was brand new and still in the shrink wrap.
I just wish that I had a Ferrari 365 Daytona or Testarossa to play it in!
