MTP blades are not effective at cutting carpet
I haven’t used the two, dark-silver silver scrapers or the black scraper so, I can’t comment on those.
I specifically purchased the set for the blue, curved-hook carpet blade and the light silver carpet blade to do carpet removal. (Side note, the company sent a silver curved-hook blade instead of a blue-colored one).
These are absolutely not-effective at cutting/removing carpet efficiently. And, even worse if you were trying to make a straight cut for carpet installation. Both blades were used correctly with the DeWALT DCS-356 Oscillating tool. The pics show the blades new and unused, right out off their packaging.
Wether you were pushing or pulling the oscillating tool, it would seem like the blades (the curved-hook one in particular) would just slice through the carpet. Instead, it was a constant struggle to keep re-angling the blades as you pushed/pulled through the carpet inch by inch. Many times, a blade will be great out of the box and then, will dull quickly. These were dull from the start.
After fighting to cut two 10-ft long strips of carpet, I switched to a basic, retractable, handheld blade (the common ones everyone seems to have around the house) and whizzed through the remaining 200-feet of carpet.
This product seems like it would sell easily to someone who’s never bought oscillating blades before or, to someone who hasn’t bought the specific blades offered in this set. They look great in the pics. The blades are not sharp or effective and I could not recommend them to anyone.

A huge time-saver. And, so accurate.
I do measurements at open houses with this and it's so much less invasive than using a tape measure. I'm doing ceiling and stairway heights in literally 3 seconds. Same for multi-room lengths (for example, combining the full length of a kitchen and dining room). It's also incredibly accurate.I believe Bosch says does to 1/8th but, I swear I get measurements closer to 1/16th. Really can't believe I was using a tape for this sort of stuff before. A huge time-saver.
