Garmin BC30 Wireless Camera

Hi, I needed to find a relatively easy way to install a rear view camera into my Toyota Aygo. Having noticed my Garmin 2597 sat nav had a installed app for a Camera I went about researching what the picture would be like. I viewed a number of YouTube videos about installation and setup. Some reviews were not very complementary about the quality of the image when viewed from the sat nav however others were very pleased. So I decided to get one for myself and see. I searched the net for a good buy, in the end settling on one from EBay. The Garmin BC30 Wireless Camera arrived very quickly indeed. Before I installed the camera into my car I attempted a trial run. Unfortunately it did not work because I did not have the require wireless receiver cable for the Sat nav. So I looked around for one on the net and again found a genuine one on EBay. I feel the price for this part to be a little steep but at this point I was committed. Again the part arrived very quickly. I did my trail run again before installing the setup. The view from the camera is very much a wide angle fisheye type image. I decided it would do the job just fine so I went ahead and installed every thing. The process was not to bad apart from in my case I had to remove the rear bumper and that was not easy. Once every thing was installed I started my car and selected reverse to my amazement I had a rear view image almost instantly on my Garmin 2597 sat nav. I made some minor adjustments to the grid lines so when reversing they gave an accurate feedback of the cars position in relation to an obstacle. I have to say I am very pleased with this product and the fact is I use it many times a day almost every day as I deliver Pizzas for a part time job. Some of the parking situations I get into can be a pain to get out off but with this Camera now installed life in now a little easier.

I have a number of Parrot Swing RC multi rotor flying machines. I suggest first time flyers to acquire them as they’re so easy to fly as a 1st RC aircraft. The build quality in my opinion is excellent, it’s a shame they’re not made any more.
