Alizee - 5
This is Alizee's best album for a long time, very upbeat and contains 2 superb singles 'Cause de l'Autome' and the really catchy 'Je Veux Bien'. Released in 2013 the music incorporates pop styles with elements of dance-pop, rock, piano-driven ballads and a renewed '60s style. It's a more mature Alizee, with at the time a new logo and moves on from teenage pop to young woman. On the album she works with new producers and artists, notably Thomas Boulard who wrote the lyrics to several tracks and music to 3 of the 11 songs on the album.
I like it because of the variety, fresh sound and beautiful voice of Alizee herself. Great recording quality and is the sort of album on which there's something for everyone. 5 stars from me.
