Good buyer, prompt payment, valued customer, highly recommended.
Having not long bought my first drum kit the next item on my list was a cow bell (of course!). I bought a Stagg cow bell mount & the smaller Stagg cowbell after looking at the cost of the others available.
The mount itself was sturdy enough so no issues there. However attaching the cowbell itself was not so easy. Turning the screw onto the mount just wasn’t working & the cowbell wasn’t secure at all. Maybe I was unlucky & just had a faulty one but I was disappointed especially as I had bought the same brand of mount as well so didn’t expect this.
Whilst the cowbell is sturdy enough & produces a decent sound unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it based on this occasion.

A worthy upgrade to the kit lens!
I believe that this lens is the successor to the DA 16-45mm F4. That lens in itself was considered a good upgrade to the kit lens with it's superior image quality but this lens is even better that it's predecessor. Image Quality is fantastic and the constant F4 aperture and the quick and virtually silent SDM focussing are all nice touches.
The competitor to this is the DA*16-50mm F2.8. Well if you're not bothered about a 2.8 aperture and full weather sealing of the DA* then get this lens, also you get an extra 20mm. There's not much between them when it comes to image quality.
All in all a worthy upgrade especially if you're using it on a K20D or a K-7.
