The Planet Observer's Handbook by Fred William Price

Excellent book for the casual to seasoned observer.

This is a very high quality book. It provides quite detailed information on observing each of the planets, including which filters provide optimum results, how to sketch what you are seeing, how to classify what you are seeing, etc.. There is something here for everyone from the amateur observer to the seasoned astronomer. The only negative -- all illustrations and photos are black and white.

Great value. Installs easily.

This design is greatly improved over my 18 year old lock and receiver. It installed very easily and works smoothly. This saves about 40% over buying the same lock and receiver from Andersen.

Heavy Duty Pole to Pole Mount - EZ HD-PTP-8 - Antenna Mast to Mast Bracket

Perfect for antenna masts.

I used two sets of these to mate a 2" OD pipe to a 1½" OD pipe for a ham radio antenna mast. Total height is about 18' with a 3' overlap of the pipes. Very sturdy and secure. Easy, straightforward installation. They are perfect for my application. I already have another application in mind.
