Mortising Attachment Dimensions - requirements ??
This product is solid and of high standard and quality. It is ideal for home DIY set-up. But; This product is designed for floor standing pillar drill press. The bench pillar drill press fall short of height to accommodate the mortising attachment and the chisel drill. Also; the attachment requires a chuck that is long enough to engage the chisel-drill to the chuck. The chuck is available.
I tried to extend the pillar of my bench drill only to find that the 46mm tube diameter is not available.
All the above requirements are not stated anywhere ! Other similar products not tested but they have similar problems. Product dimensions would have been very helpful.
Note: I have packed away the item back into its case.
