Is the future wireless-less?
I got fed up with drop-outs/ loss of connection when using WiFi to link to a computer some distance from the router. Based admittedly on a small sample, shifting the router and using a wired connection solved the issue, so I invested in the 15m ethernet cable - which will reach to most parts of the house! So far I've not experienced drop-outs. For my pattern of use, it's not too difficult to connect the cable then use the computer for a few hours. It's worth the bother if the connection is 100%. If your use is intermittent or you wander around your house, it's not the best solution. With a wired connection, the WiFi on the router can be turned off - maybe save a little power, and good for the paranoid!
The cable is quite light weight and flexible, but the electrons get from one end to the other OK.

She ate them
The dog took the bare tablet in her mouth but didn't eat it. With a smear of meat paste and a few dollops elsewhere in her food, she ate 1½ tablets without any trouble.
I count vouch what the tablets do to any worms, but at least she wasn't sick afterwards.
