Can't afford a Wurlitzer? This might suit.
Physical build is excellent, lighting is attractive and the design is clever, particularly the CD player which is tricked up to look like a 45's turntable. The sound is slightly disappointing, it's really a domestic hi-fi in a fancy box but OK for general listening. Mine has a slight background hum, although not too intrusive. The Blu-Tooth channel though is really noisy. It plays CDs, USB memory sticks, aux inputs and the inbuilt radio with no problems. Blutooth is OK apart from the hiss and crackle but I couldn't get the SD card input to work. Note that your music on USB needs to be in mp3 format, it won't recognise m4a (the iPhone/Pad default format), but there are free programmes on the net that easily convert one format to another. Listen, it isn't a Wurlitzer and it would be unfair to compare it at that level, but once you get past the slight disappointment in the sound area, it IS an attractive, unusual and fun thing to have in the house and mine gets lots of use.

Desensitises the touch screen
It looks good,it's easy to fit and is virtually invisible once fitted. Problem is that the touch screen is then measurably desensitised and you need to apply lots of pressure to get any sort of response from the screen, often nothing happens no matter how you apply your touch. After lots of frustration I removed the protector and then the screen immediately reurned to it's previous good level of sensitivity. The protector is relatively thick and I think that this is the problem, it separates you from the actual screen and finger touches just don't travel through that extra thickness. And, yes, I did remove the protective film, front and back, during fitting :-)

Handy, accurate and easy to use.
Works well and exactly as described. I'm now cord-free and can operate my laptop from several feet away if necessary. Comfortable to hold and use. The batteries seem to be lasting quite well, the device powers down if it isn't used for a few minutes but powers up again with a quick right-click. This goes a long way to extending battery life. Simple plug-and-play (remember to insert the tiny receiver into a USB port though!) Recommended.
