Not XXL in any shape, way or form …
XXL by name but not by nature. There is nothing supersized about this book - in fact calling it a book is a misnomer - it is more a thick pamphlet in both size and content. Nothing BIG about it at all.
If you are looking for a coffee table book of great recipes, with quality text and images to enthuse over or inspire, this is not it.
Basic text, no photos, on poor quality paper, it has the look of bunch of photocopied printouts (using blotting paper) pasted together inside a thin cardboard cover.
The content is sound apparently (says the resident cook) but not worth its full price - but for a stinking big discount on retail this would have found itself returned ASAP.

Good value for money.
Excellent range of recipes in a robust water resistant cover ideal for use in the kitchen - not just fireside reading. Recipes range from the everyday to more exotic dishes.
Sure there’s something in here for everyone.
