Nice steampunk anime
This was an interesting movie and one I enjoyed. The English dubbing is quite good with talented well known actors doing the voices. It is a shame this didn't do better here in North America, but it certainly deserves to be in the collection of any anime fan.

nice effects and decent story too
2 of 2 found this helpful I skipped this one at the theater so my first viewing was the blu-ray. I found it to be an enjoyable way to pass 2 hours and was pleased with the good picture quality which showed off the special effects quite well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy/adventure with lots of cgi effects.

enjoyable if a bit juvenile
1 of 1 found this helpful I had never heard of this manga and anime series before despite it being quite old (began 50 or so years ago) and the blu-ray was cheap so I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the story and effects, although it was aimed at a bit younger audience that me. It is a shame this series hasn't ever made it to the US other than this one blu-ray disk as it really is quite a good concept. Give it a try, you will probably like it.
