Magical lens; something about the software Leica uses..
2 of 2 found this helpful I've owned a Leica Digilux 1 for years, and am always amazed at the photos it takes compared to people with Canon/Nikon taking the same shots. Something about how they match the sensor to the lens to the software. Leica cameras, if you can afford them, really are worth it.
I don't mind the fixed lens, although that is what most people don't like about it. It keeps the cost down, and the range of this zoom is more than adequate for a take-anywhere camera.
I love my Digilux 2!!
