It covers my white/grey roots unbelievably well
I was really surprised at how well it has actually covered up my white/grey roots. I am naturally very grey now and usually I have my hair professionally coloured, a very dark brown, every 4 weeks at the hairdressers.
Obviously with lockdown this has not been possible and so I thought I would try alternatives that didnt have 'bleach' in them and tried this.
I read a few reviews and decided that I would wash my hair, then when just damp, put on this conditioner - black tulip colour. I put plenty on and concentrate on lots on my roots. I then got a silver foil type shower cap and put that on and left it for 3 or 4 hours. I then rinsed with water only until clear. I
The 1st time it covered up most of my roots apart from where I had missed.
I only wash my hair once a week and so did the above each time I washed it. I don't find it anywhere near as stressful as trying to use the 'professional' hair dyes.
I can honestly say that I have no roots at all and my hair looks great!
Downsides are that it is not a permanent colour and I don't think I would be able to swim in a pool for example, without leaving a trail of blue in the water. It is fine for everyday living though I have no issues with it running or anything at all and it 'feels' like my permanent colour.
I highly recommend this.

Great oil and great value for money.
3 of 3 found this helpful I use this every day in the shower and after careful towel drying it moisturises my skin really well. In the cold British climate, I prefer using oil in the warm shower as I find it quicker to apply and also I don't get cold applying body lotion afterwards. As it doesn't have any scent I added an essential oil to the bottle. The litre bottle lasts for ages, and I can honestly say that this oil is the best I have found and is great value for money too.
