1 of 1 found this helpful Made short work of my log pile, this is a very good and well built sturdy product. I have swung a maul for the last five years. I think this is one of the best splitters on the market for the price. I split about three ton of logs in two days with no issue. Just one thing, the bleed screw needs to be positioned at six o'clock to prevent splitting logs catching it. I had the screw positioned at around 10 past (Clock face) and a couple of logs caught it and damaged it due to it being plastic. It didn't affect the splitter operation the screw is just slightly damaged and twisted but can still be tightened up and slackened off. I will order a new screw when I get around to it. Apart from that I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Brilliant idea and saves on the extra plumbing for two appliances. Waiting for one to come out with isolating tap for each side now.
