Lemonheads It's A Shame About Ray CD
I love this record, have done since the first listen. Rhythm driven accoustic pop songs in a nutshell. Each track 2-3 mins in length, none last too long. Evan Dando's compelling vocals and heart felt lyrics make this a rare album in that it is triumphant if you're feeling happy, yet sympathetically upbeat if you're thoroughly p****d off.
Ok, it may have all been about the Mrs Robinson single at the time(added on later editions of CD), but you've got to see well past that to discover the real gems of Alison's Starting to Happen, Rudderless and The Turnpike Down.
When i get to the end (which doesn't take long), it normally goes on again.
Pop as it should be....Don't miss out
