The T1200 was a product about 25 years ago, and can be expected to have a bit of patina by now, I principally bid on it for the all terrain rear wheels and even if the rest had turned out to be a lost cause as a going concern, there would be useful bits, as I have two others of a similar vintage. In fact, it is a lot better than all that, and I anticipate that after a month or so of TLC and tinkering in the evenings, it will, via E Bay, be fit for another 25 years of hard work, and a tribute to the Plympton factory,

Not sensitive enough
It does require extra weight on the bait platform to catch the mice in my house; perhaps they are lighter on their feet than Chinese mice. I find that adhering coins with peanut butter until the weight is enough to give a 'hair trigger' response works every time.
I had a medium carbon steel steering worm gear in two pieces to repair as no spares are available. With moderate preheat I found the rods a treat to weld with, and when dressing back found no defects, so am optimistic that it will hang together when returned to service.
